Poor bus services irk Surfraw Sumbal residents
Locals demand additional transportation to their area

Ganderbal, June 19: The residents of Surfraw, Sumbal Bala area in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal District on Sunday expressed their anger over the poor bus services in the area while demanding an additional transport for the area.
We are the worst sufferers in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal District as we have the very poor bus services, residents said.
“The students have to wait for two hours for a bus only to reach 10 Kms away from our home to the school, which becomes the regular reason for not attending morning assembly,” a local student, Syed Waqar Danish told Rising Kashmir.
He further said that Syed Basti, Sumbal, Bagh Pati, Surfraw , Kaniwas and Ganiwan B areas are the worst sufferers of the poor transport services.
The employees from these areas said that they don't reach to their respective offices on time due to this issue.
They have appealed the concerned authorities to make arrangements for the additional public transport for the area to overcome the inconvenience met by people particularly students, government employees, patients and others.
