PDF chairman seeks exemplary punishment against hatemongers across country

Khansahib, June 21: Chairman People's Democratic Front (PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen Tuesday felicitated people especially Muslims on the occasion of annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Soleh (ra) Khansahib.
A statement from the PDF said that despite heavy downpour, Hakeem, alongwith hundreds of devotees participated in the main religious congregation and paid obesience at the mausoleum of the great Sufi saint. He prayed for peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir and well-being of the overall humanity.
The PDF chairman, who is also chairman of the Syed Soleh Trust, enjoined upon the people especially followers of Hazrat Syed Soleh( ra) to imbibe moral and religious values in them to build a sound society free from social evils and hatred . He has urged to follow the foot prints of the Prophet of Islam, who has taught us coexistence, love and compassion.
Hakeem Yaseen lashed out on the “fringe elements” who were hell-bent to foment toxin of hate among the communities for petty political considerations notwithstanding the fact that their myopic attitude towards minorities was against the overall all interests of the country.
He said that it was due to the hate politics of the fringe elements that the secular and democratic credentials of the country have been dented all over the world especially in the gulf countries.
Senior political leader has sought exemplary punishment for the guilty involved in disrespecting the Prophet.
