Sopore, July 02: Peoples’ Conference (PC) leader Abdul GaniVakilSaturday said time has come for the people of Jammu & Kashmir to reject the “self-serving” politics of traditional families like NC and PDP, who as perhim, “exploited the sentiments of people” for decades only for attaining power corridors.
Senior PC leader, while addressing party workers in north Kashmir’s Sopore, accused National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party of “befooling J&K masses by lies, deceit and fallacy in lieu of power and conveniently turn their backs when they are entrusted with it.”
Welcoming eightSarpanchs and several workers in the party, Vakil alleged that NC and PDP have inked a “secret deal” to safeguard their dynastic rule.
He added that the people of J&K have been trapped in the post-August 5, 2019 situation and that PC will stand up for them in our united quest to retrieve back which is rightfully ours.
“We at the PC believe that existing changelessness is a big challenge and an even bigger challenge is navigating a dignified way out of the web of disempowerment.”
He stressed upon Lieutenant Governor J&K to resume the food truck services to other parts of the country especially Delhi as the apples are rotting resulting in heavy loss to the fruit industry.
