Pathania vouches for cultural centre at Mansar

Udhampur, Sep 16: While calling on the Union MoS for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs, Ranbir Singh Pathania stressed for setting up of a 'Cultural Centre' at Mansar.
In a statement he said that a Cultural Center equipped with auditorium-cum-theater, recreational, training and capacity-building facilities will be able to facilitate a teeming troupe of local folk artists, singers and folk dancers. Rather they can find a viable opportunity as well as a pedestal to propagate, preserve and promote local art and culture.
Pathania further called upon the minister to sensitize the ASI of (Archeological Survey of India) authorities in Manwal as well as Ramnagar to adopt a humane touch while dealing with people/ments in 'regulated areas' 'restricted areas'.
Pathania further called upon the need to boost tourism in the area of Dudu-Basantgarh by creating a voluble road connectivity. He called for extending the highway from Chenani to Sudh Mahadev upto Dudu Basantgarh-Ramnagar-Rowndomail.
Providing road connectivity will not only boost tourism and development in the area but at the same time it shall provide better infrastructural facilities too. The area has immense scope for pilgrimage, sight-seeing tourism in the area.
Pathania was accompanied by Jattu Ram (DDC Ramnagar-II), Rakesh Chander Sharma (DDC Ghordi), Puran Chand, District President, Kuldeep Singh, Shiv Ram, Sukhdev Sharma, Kavi Raj, Sham Lal and others.
