National Icestock Sports C'ship concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 13: The Four day National Icestock Sports (summer version) championship 2021 has concluded here at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium Srinagar.
The championship started on September 19 and concluded on September 12.
300 players from 20 states across India participated in this mega event and showcased their talent and Icestock sports skills.
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the occasion, Khan said that these types of national championships not only will give a good message to the world but also will help them to improve the sports tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Advisor also interacted with participants and encouraged them for their performances.
He also awarded medals to the best players in various age categories.
 J&K emerged overall champions in this event.
Secretary , Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul,  Sports Officer Kashmir, Nuzhat Ara, Manager stadium, and the office bearers and other officials of the Indian Icestock Sports Federation were present on the occasion.
The championship was organized by Indian Icestock Sports Federation under the aegis of J&K sports council.
