Muslims in Lar Ganderbal made arrangements for last rites of Amarnath Pilgrim

Ganderbal, July 14:  Muslims here in the Lar area of Central Kashmir Ganderbal made arrangements for the last rites of a Amarnath Pilgrim who died after a cloud burst occurred near Amarnath cave last week.
Sources told Rising Kashmir that in Lar area of Ganderbal,Muslim community set another great example of Hindu Muslim brotherhood after they conducted last rites for a pilgrim who lost his life from Baltal during the Yatra.
He said the Muslim community helped the family of Deepak Tangray S/O Dharam Veer a resident of 1/12 Rani Garden East Delhi as per Hindu rituals.
Ex MLA Ganderbal Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar told Rising Kashmir over Phone that when the body was brought to the Lar Village by District administration,they immediately reached there along with a local pandit, neighbours and carried the hearse to the Shamshan Bhoomi in the Lar village.
The last rites of the Pilgrims was performed after conducting the medico-legal formalities.His family members also participates in the last rites and his ashes will be taken to Haridwar after two days.
Pertinently body of the said missing pilgrim was recovered by a rescue team away from the holy Amarnath Cave on Thursday. 
He had gone missing after a heavy cloud burst occurred near the holy cave on July 8 this month leaving at least 16 pilgrims dead and scores missing. With the recovery of this body, the toll has touched 17.
