Manan Wani wins B’la cycling championship

Srinagar Oct 11: Cyclist Manan Wani on Sunday won District Baramulla Cycling Championship here at Highgam-Khushal Stadium Sopore.
Cyclists in different age groups participated in this championship.
The event was held in the morning from Highgam to Khushal Stadium Sopore.
Khursheed Ahmed was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Guest of honour were advocate Azim and Feroz Ahmed parry.
In the event Cyclists were categorised into three groups Senior, Junior, Sub Junior.
In the senior category the championship was won by Manan Wani whereas Asif Teli and Irfan Gull attained second and Third place respectively.
In Junior Category Adnan Bashir achieved first position where as Arfat Bashir and Asif Teli got second and third place respectively.
While in Sub Junior category Junaid ul Islam attained first where as Zaffer Mufazey and Abu Bakr got second and third positions respectively.
7 years old Amar Azim was the youngest participant in the event.
Feroz Ahmad Parray awarded prizes to the position holders in the Prize distribution ceremony.
Organisers while giving credit to all participants and Miss Qurat ul Ain and Miss Mehreen for their support for making this event successful.
The cycling championship was organised by J&K Cycling Association.
