Kashmir Avenger FC & Sports Council FA ends with draw

Srinagar, Oct 14: In an ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League 2021, two matches of Premier Division were played on Thursday in match first Kashmir Avenger FC and Sports Council FA ended with 2:2 draw while in second match Food and Supplies XI and Arco FC also ended with 1:1 draw here at Synthetic Turf TRC.
 The first match was played between Kashmir Avenger FC (KAFC) and Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA). As the play started the KAFC made a move to breach the defence lines of SCFA and Kelvin put his team ahead in the 16th minute of the match by scoring a goal.
 The lead gave a huge boost to the KAFC players and they kept attacking the opposite goal post frequently and they succeeded to consolidate their lead in the 26th minute through Saqib. Thus, the first half ended with 2:0 favouring KAFC.
 As the second half began, SCFA players were desperate to score and they launched several attacks on the opposite goalpost. Ali of SCFA managed to score a goal in the 65th minute of the play and it opened up the match.
The rest of the play was high speed football from both the teams as SCFA tried their best to score an equaliser while KAFC were trying to score a third goal.
When it looked like the match would end 2:1, the SCFA team managed to level the score in the 69th Minute through Parvez.
Both the teams tried hard to take the lead but both failed to breach the defence lines of each other. The goal keepers of both the teams made some exceptional saves.
 The high speed and quality football displayed by the two teams mesmerized the spectators.
 However, when the referee blew the final whistle the score line read 2:2 and it was a fair result considering the quality of football displayed by both of them. Parvez of SCFA was declared Man of the match.
 The second was played between Food and Supplies XI and Arco Football Club.
 Right from the start of the match both the clubs made certain calculated moves at each other’s goalposts.
 It was in the 8th minute of the first half that Food and Supplies XI took the lead by scoring a goal.
Trailing by one goal Arco FC tried hard to equalize, but could not find the net in the first half. The first half score was 1:0.
 In the Second half Arco FC tried very hard to find the net and they created various chances to score but they failed.
In the 89th minute Arco FC leveled the score through Nayeem Ahmad. Thus the match ended with a 1:1 goal draw.
Aijaz of F&S XI was declared as man of the match.
 The Tournament is organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
