JK Women’s Football team leaves for Kerala

To play national championship on Nov 29

Srinagar, Nov 22: A Contingent of 20 Women’s Football players and three Officials on Sunday left for Kerala to participate in the 26th Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2021 scheduled to be held at Kozhikode Kerala.
The championship is starting from November 29 and will conclude on Dec 3 2021. 
Earlier, the team was screened by Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, J&K Sports Council on 22nd Nov 2021 at Jammu.
The J&K team will lock horns with Skimm, Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh in the tournament. 
The Team is accompanied by three Officials of J&K which Include Manager Miss Alka Naseer, Coach Masood Maqbool and Physio Miss Ritasha.
The women team include Sangeeta (Goalkeeper), Tanuja (Defender), Rukaya (Defender), Sabreena Firdous (Defender), Pooja Devi (Defender),Kriti Bhasin (Midfielder), Nadiya Nighat forward, Shika (midfielder).
 Sushma (Midfielder), Mehroosh Aslam Baba (forward), Surekha (forward), Shaista Hassan (forward), Tanishqua Pal Kour (forward), Kehkashan Khursheed (Midfielder), Afreen Amir (Defender), Shabnam Hussain (forward), Seerat Zahoor (Midfielder), Gomini Rajput (Midfielder), Nitika Thapa (forward), Arprita Mahajan (Goal Keeper).
