Srinagar, Aug 11: All educational institutions in Kashmir including high and higher secondary schools held hundreds of rallies in the nook and corner of the district as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
Hundreds of students including teachers participated with fervor and enthusiasm in the Tiranga rallies.
Kupwara: The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kupwara, Abdul Hameed Fani led various rallies in Karnah subdivision. The border area Karnah situated near Line of actual control (LOC) reverberated with patriotic songs including ‘Saray Jahan Say Acha Hindustan Humara’ and ‘Ooncha Rahay Ga Jandah Humara’.
The Rallies that were led by CEO include Boys Higher Secondary School Kandi, GHSS Tangdar, HSS Nichyan, High School Baghbella and KGBV Tangdar.
Likewise, Tiranga Rallies were also conducted in all educational institutes of Zone Handwara, Sogam, Khumriyal, Langate, Trehgam, Kralpora and zones.
Shopian: Multifarious activities conducted by different departments are in full swing across the district to instill momentum in the national campaign of ‘Har ghar Tiranga’ for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district.
Painting Competitions and National Anthem singing and essay competitions, quiz programmes, debates and seminars have been organised in Govt. Degree Colleges and schools of the district.
The School Education department has been at the forefront in carrying out massive Tiranga rallies and national anthem singing competitions. It has taken headway in organizing these activities so as to prepare for the Independence Day celebrations.
Students are proactively participating in the events and are excited to participate in upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
Pulwama: Commissioner Secretary, RDD, Mandeep Kaur also participated in the grand event in which more than more than 15000 school children and youth also took part and sang beautiful patriotic songs.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Secretary said that the idea behind the initiative is to invoke a sense of ownership in the people and to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari (community participation). She highlighted that the campaign aims to evoke the idea of hoisting the National Flag among citizens at their homes between August 13 and 15.
Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza was chief guest on the occasion, while as SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem Khan, ADDC Dr Akramullah Tak, ADC Dr Nasir Ahmad, ACD, CEO, DYSSO and other officers from both civil and police administration were also present on the occasion.
Hundreds of students, holding National Flags in their hands, participated in the event with full enthusiasm and fervour.
On the occasion, the DC lauded the organizers for holding the event and appreciated students for their active role in making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a big success in the district.
The participating students also took out a Tiranga rally and marched through the stadium on the occasion.
Pertinently, besides huge participation in Tiranga rallies, remarkable participation of students was witnessed in essay writing, debates, singing, painting and National Anthem singing competitions across all schools of Budgam.
Kulgam: As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a grand celebration with a Tiranga rally was held today at Sports Stadium Kulgam.
The function was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat along with SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V. Sandeep.
Bandipora: District administration Bandipora organised a Grand Tiranga Rally at S.K Stadium, here.
More than 12000 students participated in the rally along with teachers besides officers and officials from District Administration.
