Ganderbal admin advises pilgrims to get health checkups done before going to holy cave

Says health counters are being set up after every 2 km

Ganderbal, July 03:  District administration Ganderbal advised pilgrims to get their health checkupsdone before going to the holy cave.
In a tweet, they said that Yatris are advised to get their health check-up done before proceeding further withthe yatra. “Health counters are being set up after every 2 km on both the yatra routes,” it further reads.
In the 43-day long Amarnath Yatra, authorities have made tight security arrangements for pilgrims along with the Amarnath route and Baltal Base Camp. 
An official of the Ganderbal admin said that the Yatris are happy and safe and said that all-out efforts of security and other welfare-related issues have been taken into consideration by the government to ensure a successful Yatra.
He further said that we also oversee the arrangements being made for Yatris. Pertinently, all the necessary arrangements for the basic amenities, healthcare andsecurity arrangements have been put in place enroute to the Holy Cave for the convenience of the Yatris.
