DPS JAMMU student wins Gold at 30th Junior National Fencing championship

Srinagar, July 03: Ananya Sharma, a class 12th student of Delhi Public School Jammu has brought laurels to the school and her parents by winning the gold medal in 30th Junior National Fencing Championship-2022.
According to a spokesman, the championship was organized by the Fencing Association of India held at Cuttack, Odisha from June-29 to 3rd July, 2022 in the Sabre Girls team event.
J&K UT women’s team was also declared as overall runner-up of the championship.
Another student Raghi Verma of 12th G also participated and represented UT in the EPPE team event in this championship.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and participants for their achievements and motivated them to continue their persistent efforts in achieving their goals.
President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh, and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to the winner, participants and their parents.
