Postpartum period is a crucial phase in women so they should take good care of themselves after delivery. They shouldn't stop taking iron and folic acid supplements which they had during the pregnancy because blood loss during delivery and postpartum can lead to anemia. Also its necessary to replenish iron stores
The postpartum period is commonly defined as the six weeks after childbirth. This is a very important time for both mother and the newborn baby as both adjust to each other and their expanded family. In the first few hours and days after childbirth, mother can experience many changes, both physically and emotionally.
Some new mothers develop physical problems after childbirth. These may include infections, difficulty urinating, constipation, hemorrhoids, or other conditions. Prompt and appropriate treatment can help to alleviate discomfort and treat the problem.
Best problem solver is the adequate intake of fluids, fruits and veggies. The occasion walk and adequate sleep are also important to prevent the physical issues.
