Darakhshan Andrabi leads ‘TirangaYatra’ of BJP in Budgam

Srinagar, Aug 12: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board and National Executive Member of BJP Dr DarakhsanAndrabi led the TirangaYatra held at Budgam by the BharatiyaJanata Party today. She was accompanied by party leader Ali Mohammad Mir, District leadership and activists of BJP. Amid sloganeering in honour of the national flag and the nation’s glory, the rally attended by people from all groups travelled through Budgam town and distributed Tri-colours to the local population also. Speaking to the media on the occasion Dr DarakhshanAndrabi said that it was a moment of honour for every citizen to be able to unfurl the national flag during ‘AzadiKaAmritMahotsav’.
“The days of anti-India rhetoric have ended in J&K now and Kashmir will again be a powerful centre of Indian ethos and culture,” said Dr Andrabi, while speaking to the media during the rally.
In reply to a question about the security scenario of Kashmir now, Dr Andrabi said that the security network is quite satisfactory and in command in J&K and the isolated incidents of violence should not be taken as a breach in the security grid.
