CMO Budgam reviews performance of deptt during Q1 of financial year

Srinagar, July 22: Chief Medical MO Budgam, Dr Tajamul Hussain Khan, reviewed the physical as well as the financial performance of the department for the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23 in the district during several meetings this week.
As per a spokesman, a meeting with BMOs along with BPM units of blocks Budgam, Chattergam, and Soibugh was held by the CMO on July 18, while on July 19, he held a detailed meeting with NHM units, BMOs alongwith BPMU of blocks Chrar-e-Sharief, Khag, Magam Nagam.
The spokesman said that a review meeting with BMOs along with BPM units of blocks Beerwah, Chadoora, and Khansahib was held on July 21.
The spokesman said that on July 21, detailed power point presentations of all the programs were shared among the participants and issues including shortcomings, funds utilization, work done etc were discussed in length one by one.
Dy. CMO Dr Tehmina, DTO Dr Adfar Yasin ,DHO Dr. Lahoot Hassan , Medical officer store Dr Shahid Qadiri and other district officers of health and nodal officers/NHM at CMO office attended the meeting and threadbare reviews were taken.
During the meetings, CMO Budgam stressed upon being dedicated, honest and available for the services of humanity in every aspect.
He stressed that aim of health professionals should be to serve our fellow brothers
 
The spokesman said that the agendas of the meetings included JAY/JSSK (Physical & Financial), the status of RBSK, the status of HMIS/RCH/General work done, Anaemia Mukt Bharat
, the status of JAS committee at DH/CPHC/PHC/SCs(HWCS) formation and conduction meetings as per guidelines.
Besides, the spokesman added, the status of Health and Wellness Centers, the status of Tuberculosis activities, the status of different programmes viz geriatric wards for elderly/NCD/Mental Health/COB/NTCP/IDSP/NLEP, the status of Ayushman Bharat -PMJAY SEHAT, provision of IT infrastructure at HWCA/PHC & better utilization of these for better patient care, implementation of HIMID at Health facilities with three Module concepts at DH/SDHs/CHCs.(1st Phase), supportive supervision of all Health facilities at Block level by Block Medical Officers & sharing of schedule with the report, the status of World Population Fortnight and other issues were discussed during the meetings.
The spokesman added that a holistic review of department’s preparation & arrangement for the month of Muharram-ul-Haram was also taken besides installation of new signage boards at all Health facilities viz SDH/CHCs/PHCs/HWCs., submission of information as required should be submitted in time without any lackadaisical approach and supervision of M.O of PHCs for SC concerned were also discussed threadbare,
The spokesman said that the CMO thanked all the stakeholders for being cooperative and patient in attending the long review meetings.
He further appreciated the health warriors for being ready to tackle any situation within or outside the district.
