Burn Hall School concludes skiing course in Gulmarg

Baramulla, Mar 06:The 13th annual snow skiing course organised by Burn Hall Higher Secondary School concluded at the ski resort of Gulmarg on Sunday.

As per the official during this course, students were trained in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced level skiing.

 Official added students also took part in ski competitions which were held between the students to grade their performance.

President  Winter Games Association Jammu and Kashmir (WGAJK) Abbas Wani was Chief Guest whileas Olympion Arif Khan  and Assistant Director Tourism Gulmarg were Guest of Honour on the occasion.

While speaking with the students Arif Khan shared his journey of participation in the Olympics in Beijing 2022. Abbas Wani distributed  medals among the winners on the occasion.

In Techniques, Mohammad Hassan bagged Gold medal , Nabeel Shah bagged Silver  Bronze medal was shared by Yahya Yasir and Shoib Dar respectively.

In  Junior Catagory Molvi Shabib  bagged the Gold ,Aleem won the silver medal. Whereas  Aydan Dar bagged  Gold , Rayan Shah won Silver in intermediate level skiing.

Suraish Britto hailed the performance of students and appreciated the hard work of sports teachers of Burn Hall  School. Britto hailed students for taking part in adventure sports activities.

He expressed gratitude  to the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department for providing  assistance in making the event successful.
