BSF school celebrates Teachers’ Day

Jammu, Sep 05: In a bid to honour the teaching fraternity, BSF School Sunday celebrated Teachers’ Day with full fervor in the school premises, here.
N.S Jamwal IG BSF Jammu FTR was the Chief Guest on the occasion. DIG/PSO S.K. Singh was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, a floral tribute was paid to Dr S Radhakrishnan. A short cultural programme was organized to appreciate the unwavering commitment of teachers for the mission and the vision of BSF School.
Addressing the gathering, Jamwal said, “teachers decide what the students will become in future as they can infuse in them the dignity of labour.”
 He appreciated Principal BSF School Dr S K Shukla and his team’s constant endeavour in bringing BSF School to a great height. He also felicitated the teachers on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr S K Shukla commended the painstaking efforts of teachers in the testing times of pandemic. Emphasizing the role of teachers, he said, “teachers should be progressive in outlook. They should not only be the storehouse of knowledge but also the role models for the students.”
