Bharti Foundation launches Satya Bharti Quality Support Program in 24 Government Schools in Samba

Samba, July 25: Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, launched its successful Satya Bharti Quality Support Program in 24 Government Schools in Samba district. 
The initiative will benefit over 5300 students.
The Foundation got into partnership with the Department of School Education, Samba to enrich the learning experiences of the students and improve the overall schools’ performance in Samba district. 
The program was launched in the presence of Chief Education Officer, Head of Institutions of Samba, Zonal Educational Officers and other Education department officials of the district. The Foundation began its operations in this district by focusing on identifying, integrating and optimizing best practices from its flagship program, Satya Bharti Schools. 
Under Satya Bharti Quality Support Program, Bharti Foundation is currently supporting 123 Government Schools including Army Goodwill Schools, benefitting 33000+ students and 2000+ teachers in 14 districts in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh UT.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Samba said, “Quality education doesn’t stop at academics. It is a comprehensive approach to nurture children into socially responsible citizens of the country. Bharti Foundation’s initiative is a step towards this and we will support the Foundation for making the partnership successful in Samba district.”
The Satya Bharti Quality Support Program is an education initiative that supports Government Schools in instilling values and life skills in children for them to emerge successful in their lives. Through this program, Bharti Foundation engages the school leadership, teachers, students and communities to enhance the overall schooling experience and strive for excellence. Currently, 691 Government Schools are benefitting from this program across India in 11 states/UTs reaching out to 235,811 students and impacting 9177 teachers*. (*data as on March 2022)
Speaking on the partnership, Anil Bhat, Project Head, Bharti Foundation said, “We are excited to start the program in Samba. There are plans to further expand in other districts including Rajouri in Jammu division. Satya Bharti Quality Support Program is a dynamic, need-based initiative entailing introduction of innovative tools and processes for holistic development of children and to enhance their overall schooling experience. We look forward to contribute in making schools vibrant places of learning.”
