Ashok Koul unfurls national flag at BJP headquarters in Sgr

Srinagar, Aug 15: Nation is celebrating its 76th independence day. On this special occasion, BJP's general secretary-organization, Ashok Koul along with spokesperson Altaf Thakur, Kashmir Media In-charge ManzoorBhat, Arif Raja Ashok Bhat, Bilal Parray and Salinder Singh Monday unfurled the national flag at party headquarters in Srinagar.
In a statement, Koul said that the celebrations this year are so special as Independence Day falls in the 75th year of Independence, being celebrated as 'AzadikaAmritMahotsav' across the country.
He said that today the entire Kashmir has been painted in the color of tricolor and people are celebrating it like a festival and the procession was seen. It was a completely different and people waved the tricolor in their homes with great enthusiasm.
Prime minister NarendraModi-led government for taking brave decisions during his tenure. "In the last eight years, PM Modi's government did a commendable job. We have seen massive development in Jammu and Kashmir. The efforts and initiative taken by the PM Modi's government executed the vision of Modi which is globally applauded,” said Koul.
Heartiest greetings of 'Independence Day' dedicated to justice, freedom, equality, national unity and integrity and fraternity in the world's largest democracy, Koul said. Koul also greeted the party workers of the valley on the occasion.
