AP state OBC coordinator terms Delimitation Commission’s recommendations ‘discriminatory’

Jammu, May 08: State OBC Coordinator of Apni Party (AP) Madan Lal Chalotra has strongly condemned the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission in Jammu and Kashmir which has discriminated against the people to benefit a political party.
A press statement issued by Chalotra in which he said that there is a strong resentment among the OBC people as they were ignored and their constituency was reserved as the delimitation process was not to benefit the people but to help a political party.
“The DPs, OBCs, Jatt community and border villagers have strong resentment against the Commission’s report as they were not given representations nor their constituencies were reserved,” he said.
He said the Commission instead has divided the society with its report which cannot be tolerated.
Earlier, he called on the AP president Syed Mohammed AltafBukhari and conveyed the resentment among the OBC community against the Delimitation Commission’s Report.
The OBC state coordinator was accompanied by the OBC general secretary, DarshanMehra, Gandhi Singh, Kulbir Singh, PremSagar, Sukhwinder Singh Ladi and Narinder Singh and others.
