Srinagar, May 26: Apni Party (AP) Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi expressed deep sense of sadness over the killing of TV artist AmreenBhat, who was shot dead by the terrorists at her residence in the village of Hishroo, Chadoora last evening.  Her 10-year-old nephew got a critical bullet injury in this attack.
In a statement, Andrabi said, “I condemn the killing of the TV artist in the strongest possible terms, and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.”
“Unfortunately, there seems to be no end to the spree of killings of innocent people in Kashmir. Such cowardly and barbaric attacks and killings only leave behind miseries and sufferings to the people, who have been grappling with continuous violence and bloodshed for the past few decades,” he said.
Meanwhile, Apni Party (AP) vice-president Javid Mustafa Mir expressed deep sense of grief over the killing of AmreenBhat. “No words can be enough to condemn the killing of a woman and injuring a child. This is undoubtedly an inhuman act of violence, which should be condemned by one and all in the strongest possible terms,” he said.
