AP delegation visits Constable Reyaz Ahmad’s family

Srinagar, May 17: Apni Party (AP) delegation led by district president PulwamaGhulam Mohammad Mir, Tuesday visited the family of Constable Reyaz Ahmad Thoker, who was shot at by militants on Friday.
According to a statement from the party, during his visit to Reyaz Ahmad's ancestral home at Gadoora, Pulwama, Mir expressed condolences and shared grief with the family members of the deceased.
Mir said that it is very unfortunate to see innocent lives being consumed by the conflict. He also urged the government to save the lives of those assigned in the line of duty.
"It is extremely heart-wrenching that an innocent life was killed in the line of duty. My heartfelt sympathy is with the family members in this hour of loss. I hope the perpetrators of the crime are brought to justice at its earliest. Besides this, I request the LG Administration to provide compensation to the family members of the slain constable," Mir said.
