55-yr-old Mushtaq, Kaiser complete 255km mountain biking expedition

 Srinagar, March 23: Two Kashmir based cyclists (engineers) have brought laurels to the valley by completing a 255 kilometers expedition from Srinagar to Jammu.
Engineer Mushtaq Wani and Engineer Kaiser Abdullah, both members of JK Mountain Biking   Association completed the Srinagar to Jammu expedition on Sunday.
Talking to Rising Kashmir President, JK Mountain Biking Association, Riyaz Wani the two riders of JKMBA,  Engineer Mushtaq Wani and  Engineer Kaiser, started their journey on Sunday from Srinagar at 4.30 am.
"The riders covered a distance of 255 kilometres from Srinagar to Jammu in 14:25:42 is moving time and 17:47:33 is total time as recorded by their world class Garmin Devices," he said.
Wani added  the duo are the Members of JK Mountain Biking Association and have taken part in and Completed a lot of Long Distance Mountain Biking like Sinthan top, Razdaan pass, Sadhna top, etc.
55 year old Mushatq Wani  from Srinagar is Working in Roads and Building  Department in Sub Division Ganderbal as a Junior Engineer whereas 37 year old  Kaiser Abdullah from Srinagar is Working at Srinagar Development Authority as  Assistant Engineer.
President JKMBA Riyaz Wani, Zaffar Ahmad Qureshi Executive Engineer R&B Divison Ganderbal, Prisident ATOAK Rouf Tramboo, Maqsood Ahmad Secretary KHAROF, Members of JKMAC and  JKMBA have congratulated both the riders for accomplishing such a feat.
The riders said that they had been preparing for this expedition for quite some time. And the preparation helped them in completing this difficult expedition with ease.
" In future we are planning an expedition from Srinagar to Leh," they added.
